Rich Holdsworth

Chief Executive Officer

A recognized name within the mobile industry for having true, proven, foresight into mobile internet Rich has been key in the creation of Wapple core technology. Rich has 8 years background in Web and Mobile Development and 8 years within Video Games Creation and Development as Lead Designer on 'Number 1' products. He was credited in the Sunday Times for creating the first ever WAP game.

Anne Thomas

Co-founder & Chief Operating Officer

As an entrepreneur & co-founder of Wapple Anne has built and grown the business since 2004, establishing strong operation, raising significant growth capital and creating a solid foundation for the Company's future.

Her marketing focus has generated a rapidly growing global, licensed, user-base of Wapple's world-leading, mobile web technology.

As a pioneer in 2002 Anne started providing D2C services over WAP until incorporating Wapple with her co-founder and has been voted in the top 50 international women in mobile for a number of years.

Board

Kevin Caley

Kevin Caley has a degree in metallurgy and started his career in the car industry as a production engineer and graduate training officer. After a Cranfield MBA he moved into venture capital specialising in smaller, early stage investments and has made over 400 investments over the past 28 years. He has a particular interest in technology and personal computing.

Kevin is Managing Director of the £10m Advantage Early Growth Fund in the West Midlands which made 61 investments in 7 years alongside private investors. Kevin has responsibility for acting as mentor and NED to 17 of the AEGF Portfolio companies including Wapple.net Ltd.

Kevin is the author of several publications including the first ever guide to small business finance and the DTI sponsored book on how to set up and manage a small investment fund. He has also been responsible for interactive guides to grants, business advice and the Enterprise Investment Scheme.

Recently he has established his own start up internet business (ThinCats.com) an on-line auction website for business loans.

Bill Andrewes

After service in the Scots Guards, Bill went into the service industries as a salesman and marketing manager with the Rank Organisation. In 1968 he joined Granada and after 12 years became Managing Director of Granada TV Rental. He joined the Group Board in 1981 with responsibility for all Granada's rental and retail operations. In 1990 he took over the Leisure division. He left Granada to start Two Way TV in 1992, a company developing technology for interactive television. 11 years later he left to focus on angel investments.

Sophie Muir

Sophie joined the UK Banking & Broking team in October 2010. She is a Director and Senior Credit Officer and is responsible for managing a number of global relationships for clients within Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT).

Sophie has worked for Citi in London and New York for more than 10 years within the Global Loan, Project and Structured Trade Finance, and Risk divisions. Most recently, she was Portfolio Manager for managing credit risk to the TMT sector in Europe. Prior to joining Citi, she was a Relationship Manager at Chase Manhattan's Private Bank (now part of JPMorgan).

Sophie holds a M.B.A. from Georgetown University and a BA in History from Williams College.
